Chickasha High School point guard Maycee Hill has been the driving force behind one of the most successful seasons in recent program history. Guiding the Lady Chicks to a 24-3 record and a No. 7 ranking in Class 4A, Hill has been the steady hand and competitive heart of a team built on determination, defense, and teamwork.

Running the point for Chickasha means more than calling plays—it means setting a tone. Hill has embraced that responsibility fully, averaging 13 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, and over 4 rebounds per game. Her 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio reflects her poise and decision-making, while her defensive energy often sparks momentum-shifting moments for the Lady Chicks.

“Point guard that has ran the show for us all year on a (currently) 24-3 team ranked 4A #7,” head coach Jace Johnson said. “Not only carries on the point guard role but also averages 13 ppg, 3 stls, 3 asst, 2 asst/to rate, and over 4 reb/game. Extremely coachable and has been playing through various injuries all year. Has signed to play basketball at USAO.”

Hill’s on-court productivity is impressive, but her resilience might be even more so. Despite battling through multiple injuries throughout the season, she’s continued to compete at a high level—rarely missing a beat and consistently lifting her team with both effort and leadership.

Her commitment extends beyond Chickasha. Earlier this year, Hill signed to continue her basketball career at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), ensuring her days of running the floor and leading an offense are far from over.
