OFFENSE
After a challenging season last year, Chickasha is entering the new year with high expectations and renewed focus. Many of the young players were pressed into important roles and gained valuable experience that should pay dividends this fall. The Fightin’ Chicks return several starters on offense, and their dedication throughout the offseason has been outstanding. Leading the way is senior Carson Bowen (6-1, 175), the team’s most dynamic playmaker. Bowen is a versatile threat who finished last season with over 1,000 all-purpose yards, excelling as a wide receiver and in the Wildcat package. His quickness, explosiveness, and ability to create mismatches make him the centerpiece of the offense. At running back, junior Kylen Miller (5-10, 165) and sophomore Quinton Benitez (5-10, 175) will look to carry the load on the ground. Both backs bring speed and elusiveness that can keep defenses on their heels. The passing attack should also benefit from the return of sophomore receivers Jett Crain (5-9, 160) and Dylan Curtis (5-10, 150), who gained valuable varsity experience last season. Up front, junior center Marley Scott (6-2, 275) anchors the offensive line with his strength and leadership. With improved chemistry and a full offseason to grow, Chickasha believes this group has the talent and mindset to compete for a district championship and make a deep playoff run.
DEFENSE
The defense will also be counting on returning starters and emerging leaders to set the tone. Carson Bowen will play outside linebacker, bringing the same explosiveness and tenacity that make him a force on offense. On the defensive line, Marley Scott and senior Eli Walker (6-2, 245) will be key to controlling the trenches, while junior safety Tyler O’Neal (6-0, 165) provides range and instincts in the secondary. With improved depth and confidence, Chickasha is eager to show they’re ready to turn the corner in 2025.
