Lawton – Duncan – Chickasha Top 100 – Presented by Shelter Insurance

GIRLS

Maycee Hill (Chickasha)

Maycee was a starter at Keifer last season. She is an extremely aware point guard who has a knack for scoring, playing tough defense, and making the right play.

Mea Ginn (Chickasha)

Mea has led us in points the last few years. She is a four-year starter, has been a top or second rebounder on the team. Has drawn numerous box and one face guard defenses.

Raelee Ellis (Comanche)

Raelee was our leading scorer last year as a freshman. She is also our point guard, so she has to get us into offense, get others going, while also trying to find her own shot. Her work ethic and leadership are unmatched. She is a great girl and will be a tremendous player for our program over the next three seasons. I’m very excited to see the growth in her game this upcoming season.

Chanlie Rochell (Empire)

Chanlie is going into her sophomore year. She is a fiery point guard who loves to get to the rim. With quick hands and a nose for the ball, she is a tough on-ball defender who loves to make ball handlers uncomfortable. She averaged nine points, 120 deflections, 89 steals, and 90 steals in her freshman season. We look for her to develop into a stronger leadership role this season and become a stronger, more versatile scorer.

Chazli Massey (Empire)

Chazli is going into her junior year. She is small but mighty. She has quick hands and loves the deep three-ball, shooting 39% from deep a season ago. We look for her to step up in a leadership role this season and to continue to develop as one of our floor generals while increasing her point production.

Brynna Davis (Ft.Cobb-Broxton)

She was a really good player sophomore year, but she tore her ACL at the end of the summer travel ball season, so she missed junior year. A smart player who can handle the ball good and shoot it well.

Abbey Huffman (Geronimo)

She made 70 three-pointers as a junior. She has the potential to average around 20 points per game. Last season, she also averaged four steals per game.

Rowyn Fite (Lookeba-Sickles)

Really good scorer who can drop 25 at any time. A very quick guard who can shoot and handle it. As good as anyone in class A or B.

Kinley Castle (Marlow)

Kinley is coming off a junior season that saw her average 10.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. She is expected to continue to be a big-time contributor for the Lady Outlaws.

Carson Lovett (Marlow)

Lovett leads the team at point guard. Last year, she had an average of 11.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 3.3 assists. She is a hard worker who is always ready to help her team however she can.

Daegan Ford (Minco)

Daegan is only a junior, but she is coming off a terrific sophomore campaign. She was our second-leading scorer last year, and with our top scorer graduating, I feel like she is going to step into that role and take over some games for us. She can knock down the three with ease, but she also does a good job of getting downhill and attacking the rim and getting to the free-throw line.

Presley Condit (Velma-Alma)

She was a gym rat all summer long. Leading by example of putting in work during open gyms. She is an elite shooter, but has worked hard to develop her all-around game. She is poised for a great season due to her work in the off-season.

Phylisha Jiang (Walters)

Extremely talented and smart player. She has waited her turn behind a very talented class that just graduated. Phylisha will jump into the point guard role for the Lady Devils. She is a very talented scorer and passer. She really understands the game and is like another coach on the floor.

BOYS

Hagen Larson (Big Pasture)

Larson might be a bit undersized, but he more than makes up for it with his work ethic and speed. He’s spent the entire offseason grinding in the gym, becoming a much-improved shooter to complement his quickness and creativity. Honestly, he would start for most Class B schools and be one of the best players on many of them.

Layne Davidson (Big Pasture)

Layne is a good athlete who is getting better by the day. I think you could make a strong argument that he, as well as Hagen Larson, were two of the best players in the state in Class B to not start. I believe he would have been 80 to 90 percent of class B teams’ best player or at least one of their best players.

Jacob Woommavovah (Cache)

Jacob started last year as a sophomore and played quite a few minutes as a freshman. He has an extremely high basketball IQ and plays with a very high motor. He can shoot it from deep, drive it to the paint, and is very unselfish with his playmaking and getting his teammates involved. He has great hands on defense and is definitely our leader on both sides of the ball.

Brody Ross (Chickasha)

Brody is a forward who can play inside and out and can stretch the floor. He can play and guard any position.

Jestin Songer (Dibble)

Jes is an extremely talented young man. He plays travel ball in the summer and really started to take off as a sophomore. As a junior, I am expecting him to be an 18-24 points a game type player for us. He has a genuine love for the game of basketball and has his sights set on playing at the next level, and he truly has the potential to get there. With his size and basketball IQ, he can score from anywhere on the floor and has the skill set to defend the opponent’s best player.

Cale Porter (Empire)

Cale is a three-year starter for us. He has been such a crucial part of our program for the past four years.

Creed Taylor (Lindsay)

Taylor is the best pure shooter I have coached in my 10+ years. He shot 45% last year from three-point range as a junior. This year, he will be our main option, and I am expecting his numbers to make a big jump. Creed is in the gym working every single day to make his senior year special. With new coaches in for his senior year who like to play faster and want to get more shots up, Creed will put up big numbers this year.

Isaac Cameron (Lindsay)

Isaac had a tremendous summer playing for the “Team Oklahoma” 16U AAU team. Isaac was our third leading scorer last year as a sophomore, but just like Creed with the new offensive philosophy, I expect his numbers to inflate as well. Isaac has excellent footwork and has a gift for getting to the basket, and you know he’s a good player because he always seems to find the ball and get second-chance points. His hard work and willingness to do the dirty work are one of the reasons I believe that we have a chance to be good this year.

Aden Brummell (Minco)

Aden has been a starter since he was a sophomore. Impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He is a great athlete and leader.

Carter Bradshaw (Sterling)

Carter is an excellent defender and will have to be able to score the ball some this year. He has a good work ethic and can be a leader for the team. He is excited for his senior year and is ready to compete at a high level.

Jackson Lohrer (Velma-Alma)

He is a well-rounded player. He has passed the 1,000-point mark as a junior. He is one of the best players in Class A for sure. Jackson is a good scorer who can shoot a good percentage or drive by you. Really aggressive, tough defender.

Jaxton Simmons (Waurika)

Jaxton is one of the top basketball players in southwest Oklahoma. He has made a significant impact in his first two years of high school basketball, averaging 13.6 points as a sophomore and 15.9 points as a freshman, despite being keyed upon every night. As a junior this season, with other returning players who are more experienced and able to be a threat, Simmons should have an even bigger impact on the game, leading to more wins for the Eagles.
