Coach: James Hall
22-23 Record: 5-20
The Fightin’ Chicks of Chickasha High School return a young team to the court this season and head coach James Hall is looking to build what few upperclassmen he has on the roster. “A very young team returning only one starter from a year ago. With few upperclassmen on the roster, the Fightin’ Chicks will be looking for contributions from a talented sophomore class and some freshman as well. Chickasha looks to improve on last year’s record and will do so by focusing on the defensive end and playing hard nose grind it out basketball,” said Hall. Austin Kinslow (So.) is a young guard who is known for being explosive off the dribble and has the ability to knock down shots from outside. Coach Hall said Kinslow can finish around the rim and is a great defender. With some varsity time last season, Kinslow will be an important piece of the puzzle for Chickasha this season. Kaiden Boswell (So.) is another underclassman who played in a few varsity games last season. Boswell has a motor that does not stop and is relentless on defense. Coach Hall said of Boswell, “He does everything and anything you ask without hesitation and never takes a play off.” His play will be crucial for the team’s overall success this season. Assisting coach Hall this season are Eric Golightly Jr. and Todd Davis.
